Synopsis of Minutes

Present: Lisa Bos-Atchison; Mark Muir; Louise Ernst; Gloria Malinoski; Gregory Baca; Marc Blondeau; Gay Patrick; Alan Thomarat; Margaret Lissel; Scott Moffat; Shawn Cook, Deputy Superintendent of Funeral and Cremation Services

Staff Present: Tanya Chernick-Aldridge, Office Administrator

At the meeting of Council following the 2026 Annual General Meeting, Lisa Bos-Atchison was elected as Chairperson and Mark Muir was elected as Vice-Chairperson of Council.

The Chairperson of Council appointed the following individuals as Committee Chairs:

  • Gay Patrick – Audit/Finance Committee
  • Louise Ernst – Communications Committee
  • Gloria Malinoski – Education & Professional Development Committee
  • Alan Thomarat – Legislative Review Committee
  • Margaret Lissel – Governance Review Committee
  • Lauren Weafer – Pandemic Planning Committee
  • Scott Moffat – Human Resources Committee
  • Alan Thomarat – Discipline Committee

The next meeting of Council will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026
