Synopsis of Minutes
Present: Lisa Bos-Atchison, Chairperson; Mark Muir, Vice-Chairperson; Scott Moffat; Margaret Lissel; Alan Thomarat; Gay Patrick; Shannon Leson; Louise Ernst; Gloria Malinoski; Shawn Cook, Deputy Superintendent of Funeral and Cremation Services

An in-camera meeting was held at the beginning of the meeting.
There have been three complaints received since the last meeting of Council. One was resolved as it did not fall under our oversight, while the other two are at the preliminary stage. Two previous complaints were resolved with no further action. All other files are on-going, and the committees have been continuing to meet.
The following motions were passed:
- That Council approve the revised financial operating statements for the period of February to August 2025.
- Approve the September 2025 Revenue & Expense Reports as presented.
- Accept the recommendation of the Legislative Review Committee for approval of the revisions to Advisory 26 – Attestation of Death (Funeral Director’s Statement of Death), as presented.
A second in-camera meeting was held at the conclusion of the meeting.
The next meeting of Council will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2025.
