SYNOPSIS OF MINUTES 

Present: Lisa Bos-Atchison, Chairperson; Alan Thomarat; Louise Ernst; Gay Patrick; Shawn Cook, Interim – Deputy Superintendent of Funeral and Cremation Services

Present by Zoom: Amanda Andersen, Vice-Chairperson; Mark Muir; Scott Moffat; Margaret Lissel; Chelsea Krentz; Shannon Leson; Denny Huyghebaert, Deputy Superintendent of Funeral and Cremation Services; Colin Bachynski, Registrar

Regrets: Tanya Chernick-Aldridge, Office Administrator

Staff Present: Kim Eberts, Assistant Registrar and Compliance Officer

An in-camera meeting was held prior to the Council meeting.

There has been one complaint received since the last meeting of Council.  There have been fifteen compliance reviews completed since the last meeting of Council.

The following motions were passed:

  • To add the Council orientation guide and terms of reference for committees of Council to be included on the council portion of the website.
  • Council to enforce compliance with the titles and designations specified in the Act, Regulations and Bylaws.
  • To approve the September Revenue and Expense reports as presented.

The next meeting of Council will be held on Wednesday, December 18th, 2024.
