SYNOPSIS OF MINUTES
Present: Lisa Bos-Atchison, Chairperson; Scott Moffat; Shannon Leson; Gay Patrick; Chelsea Krentz; Louise Ernst; Mark Muir; Alan Thomarat; Denny Huyghebaert, Deputy Superintendent of Funeral & Cremation Services

An in-camera meeting was held prior to the Council meeting.
There have been no complaints since the last meeting of Council. A previous complaint has moved from Preliminary Evaluation to an Investigation Committee. One prior investigation has been concluded with no further action. There have been fifteen compliance reviews completed since the last meeting of Council, four of which were unannounced visits.
The following motions were passed:
- To accept the MRU Student/CCFS Student/Intern Visual Presentation as presented and post to the FCSCS website.
- To accept the July 2024 Revenue & Expense Reports as presented.
- To approve Advisory 31 – Change of Ownership, with the provision of citing of section 22 of The Funeral and Cremation Services Act and Bylaw 6120.
The next meeting of Council will be held on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024.
