Synopsis of Minutes 

Present: Dustin Hall, Chairperson; Amanda Selsky, Vice-Chairperson; Mark Muir; Lisa Bos-Atchison; Chelsea Krentz; Shannon Leson; Alan Thomarat; Margaret Lissel; Gay Patrick; Scott Moffat

Present by Zoon: Denny Huyghebaert, Deputy Superintendent of Funeral and Cremation Services

Staff Present: Tanya Chernick-Aldridge, Office Administrator; Kim Eberts, Assistant Registrar and Compliance Officer; Colin Bachynski, Registrar

An in-camera meeting was held prior to the Council meeting.

There have been no new complaints since the last meeting of Council.  One investigation was concluded by Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) and there have been no new compliance reviews done since the last meeting of Council.

The following motions were passed:

  • To approve the motions made in-camera.
  • To accept the revisions to Policy 2006-07 – Governance Policies – CG7 Council Committee Structure, as presented.
  • To accept the revisions to bylaws 2040, 3100 and 9000 as presented.
  • To accept the creation of Form 64 – Witness of Transfer, as presented.
  • To accept the February 2024 Revenue & Expense Reports as presented.
  • To waive any late fees relating to the annual Form 1’s due to financial institution delays.

The next meeting of Council is scheduled for Tuesday, May 21st, 2024, and will be held by Zoom.
