SYNOPSIS OF MINUTES
Present: Don Sheppard; Shannon Leson; Lisa Bos-Atchison; Nancy Kirk; Gay Patrick; Robert Volk; Scott Moffat;
Present by Zoom: Dustin Hall, Chairperson; Mark Muir
Regrets: Amanda Starosta, Vice-Chairperson; Denny Huyghebaert, Deputy Superintendent of Funeral and Cremation Services
Staff Present: Tanya Chernick-Aldridge, Office Administrator; Kim Eberts, Assistant Registrar & Compliance Officer; Colin Bachynski, Registrar

An in-camera meeting was held.
Council was advised there have been no complaints received since the last meeting of Council. One previous investigation has been concluded with no further action and there are currently four matters sitting before Investigation Committees. Twenty-eight compliance reviews have been conducted since the last meeting of Council.
The following motions were passed by Council:
o Appointment of 2 new public members to the Investigation Committee for a 3-year term.
o Approve the September & October 2022 Revenue & Expense Reports as presented.
o Accept the Education & Professional Development Committee’s recommendation to appoint the following licensees as mentors:
o Yvonne Clark – EFDS 5165
o Mallory Coates – EFDS 5201
o Colette Harnett – EFDS 5228
o Chelsea Krentz – EFDS 5284
o Tracy-Lynn Lenchuck – EFDS 5301
o Mark Matthews – EFDS 370
o Jamie Merk – EFDS 5363
o Travis Minor – EFDS 5362
o Elizabeth Myhre – EFDS 5171
o Frank Vervalcke – EFDS 559
The next scheduled meeting of Council will be held on Thursday, January 26th, 2023.
