Synopsis of Minutes

Council was advised that one complaint has been received since the last meeting of Council and the matter is being referred to an investigation committee. One previous complaint which had been referred to an investigation committee resulted in a recommendation of no further action. Seventy compliance reviews have been conducted to date.
Council was updated on the status of the competition for the registrar’s position.
A motion was passed to accept the May, June & July 2021 Revenue & Expense Reports as presented.
A motion was passed that in view of the restrictions caused by COVID-19, new licensees in 2020 & 2021 could not attend the 2020 & 2021 spring symposiums as they were either cancelled or done virtually, therefore the applicable licensees may attend a future face to face spring symposium as either a 1st year licensee (free) or 2nd year licensee (1/2 price).
The next meeting of council will be held October 14th, 2021, virtually.
