Synopsis of Minutes

Council was advised five complaints have been received since the last meeting of Council and all have been successfully concluded. Twenty-nine compliance reviews were conducted prior to the COVID-19 crisis.
A motion was passed to accept the January 2020 to March 2020 Revenue & Expense Reports as presented.
A further motion was passed to accept the 2019 Audited Financial Statements provided by MWC CPA LLP as presented.
A motion was passed for the Registrar to determine options of not being able to hold the 2020 election of elected Council members, and report back to Council.
A motion was passed for the Registrar to provide a formal letter from Council to the Superintendent of Funeral & Cremation Services regarding the funeral profession having access to Personal Protective Equipment.
A motion was passed for the Registrar to survey Owners on tattoo removals in their funeral homes.
A motion was passed that in view of limited resources in the Council office the Registrar is to draft a letter to the Saskatchewan Funeral Service Association (SFSA) withdrawing administrative support.
The next meeting of Council will be held on June 25th, 2020.
