Synopsis of Minutes
Present: Raymond Bailey, Chairperson; Shannon Leson, Vice-Chairperson; Lisa Bos; Gloria Malinoski; Nancy Kirk; Jeff Weafer; Terry Zip; Agnes Ewen; Eleanor Shumay; Denny Huyghebaert, Superintendent of Funeral & Cremation Services; Sandy Mahon, Registrar

The Registrar advised that two complaints have been received since the last meeting and two other matters are presently being determined by investigation committees. Ninety seven compliance reviews were conducted throughout the year and three file by file trust reviews were also conducted.
A motion was passed to grant a conditional license to a licensee dependent on the review from the embalming instructor. The matter of embalmers that have graduated from a funeral service program in other jurisdictions that were not yet licensed and now are applying for a license in Saskatchewan was referred to the Education and Professional Development Committee for review.
A motion was passed to approve the October 2015 Revenue and Expense Reports as presented.
A motion was passed to approve the 2016 Budget as presented.
A motion was passed to the salaries for staff for 2016 as presented.
The next meeting of Council will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2016.
