Synopsis of Minutes
Present: Phil Fredette; Chairperson, Eleanor Shumay, Shannon Leson, Agnes Ewen, Nancy Kirk, Gloria Malinoski, Terry Zip, Bob Volk, Raymond Bailey, Sandy Mahon; Registrar

Council was advised there have been no complaints received since the last meeting and two complaints have been successfully resolved between the parties. Two matters are presently before Investigation Committees
Twenty-eight compliance reviews have been conducted to date as well as three trust-by-trust compliance reviews.
Council was advised the Registrar has been elected as Vice-President of the International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards.
Council was advised there were 9410 deaths in Saskatchewan during 2014 and there were 5712 dispositions by cremation (60%)
A motion was passed to accept the December, 2014 and January, 2015 Revenue & Expense Reports as presented.
A motion was passed to accept the AON Hewitt evaluation report of the Assurance Fund for 2013.
A motion was passed to accept the recommendations of the Education and Professional Development Committee in relation to forthcoming Spring Symposium:
- Fee for attendance at $200 plus tax with 9 credits granted;
- Fee for purchasing the DVD at $200 plus tax with 8 credits granted.
The next meeting of Council will be held on April 23, 2015.
