Synopsis of Minutes
Present: Phil Fredette, Chairperson; Jeff Ofstie, Vice-Chairperson; Todd Lumbard; Raymond Bailey; Nancy Kirk; David Grambo; Agnes Ewen; Robert Volk; Eleanor Shumay; Shannon Leson; Eric Greene, Acting Superintendent of Funeral and Cremation Services; Sandy Mahon, Registrar

Council was advised 1 complaint has been received since the last meeting and the complainant has invoked the right to have the matter reviewed by an Investigation Committee.
A motion was made to appoint the following members to the Investigation Committee: Darren Fedusiak, Chairperson; Jason Kopan, Licensee; Randy Burt, Consumer.
Council was advised that a new Owners license has been issued to Conley Funeral Home in Regina.
A motion was made to approve the report of the Audit and Finance Committee and a further motion was passed to adopt the AON Hewitt Assurance Fund Evaluation.
Council referred the current radio advertisement campaign to the Communication Committee for review.
A motion was passed to revise Bylaw 2014(2)(a) – Professional Development as presented.
Fees for attending the 2014 Spring Symposium or the purchase of the DVD will be $175 + GST ($183.75).
A motion was passed to appoint Todd Lumbard and David Grambo to the 2014 Nominating Committee.
The next meeting of Council will be on Thursday, March 27, 2014.
